What type of pets do you have and what are their names: We have two cats:  Kally and Ally, and two turtles:  not sure this month. 
What did you want to be when you were a child: Astronaut
Date stated Martial Arts: November 07.
Favorite part of class:   Anytime after stretching.  
Birthday: April 1969.
Where were you born:   Salem, Ohio
What countries/states have you lived in: Have visited Spain, France, Italy, Saudi Arabia and Croatia. 
What sports/hobbies do you have other than Taekwon-Do:   I like hunting and trap and skeet shooting as well as small arms.  I like any outdoor fitness activity and riding my motorcycle (yes it's a Harley).
What is your favorite food:
   Any red meat cooked rare and on the grill. 
Highest level of education: Master of Science in Space Systems Operations. 
Current profession:  Space Operations Officer at Marine Forces Strategic Command.
During your career, what was your favorite job: 
Any time I was in the air, in a helicopter.

1. Why did you start Taekwon-Do: Increase self-discipline and something that I could do with my children.
2. What made you interested enough to join:  Always wanted to, just never had time to commit.
3. What did you think being a black belt meant before you started training:   I thought that it meant you had worked hard and become proficient in your art.
4. What do you think being a black belt means now:   I believe that you never really hit the top because there is always something to work on and improve in our lives.  On the way to the top one cannot just
to be the best but must learn to become the teacher along the way.  Oh and lots of patience.

 

 

5. What changed your opinion: My instructors and other black belts in the class. 
6. What was your goal when you started Taekwon-Do:  
Fitness and enjoyment.
7. What is your goal now:  
Enjoying the road to improvement with my children and sharing my small success along the way.  Hopefully, it will become a lifetime commitment. Thanks for all the guidance.
